P’s Weigh-In for Wedding (24.6 pounds GONE) and Transforming from Fat, Fifty and Fed Up to Active, Ageless and Awesome!

Here we are in Atlanta on the Wedding Day.  I got here Wednesday night and did my official “Wedding” weigh-in Thursday morning on D’s scale – the scale that started it all.

The scale showed 24.6 pounds lost!  I got off and got back on and it was the same!  I feel great and am really motivated to see how far this will go.

D is also really happy with her amazing progress.  She modeled for us three exceptionally cute dresses that she could wear to the wedding.  This is significant – having too many choices that look terrific instead of lamenting over what to wear that doesn’t make us look “too fat.”!

Also, the last few days have underscored what a significant life plan change this is for D and me.  Since Wednesday, we’ve spent eating many meals out and eating meals with family – you know, the perfect opportunity to overindulge.  Neither of us seem to have varied from plan much.  One night I did have about 1/2 cup rice, 1/4 of a small quesadilla and come Peruvian corn nuts at a Peruvian restaurant but that was it.  We were not compelled to serve dessert at any of the meals we prepared – and it seems family embers did not care!

D and I are also so thrilled that we are now fitting in clothes that haven’t fit for years  that it seems we have new wardrobes and don’t even care to have our shopping spree that we were using to motivate us in the beginning.

In summary – we are so very happy and grateful that D came up with our initial “What If” and that we have each other and this blog to help propel us from Fat, Fifty and Fed Up to Active, Ageless, and Awesome!

Stay tuned for Part 2 of our transformation……….
