D’s Tues, Wed and Thurs 12.17, 12.18, 12. 19 meals

Where did the last three days go? I’m not even that busy at work but have been doing a lot of year end cleaning up – personally and professionally. So the time has flown. Next week I’m taking the whole week off. I can’t remember the last time I did that! So I’m pretty excited about it. The last three days, my meals have been pretty much salad. Salad with chicken salad, salad with salmon, salad with ham… lots and lots of salad with some cole slaw thrown in here and there. I did sample some treats yesterday from a copywriter that I work with. She gave boxes of her home-made biscotti, cinnamon rolls and candy out at a client meeting yesterday. I ate one half of a biscotti, a few bits of a cinnamon roll and a bite or two of one of the candies. That’s it, all I needed to get it out of my  head. The box is almost gone thanks to hubby so I don’t think I’ll be tempted to eat anymore.

I’m down one pound since the wedding weigh in so I feel good about staying on track with that. I’ve got about 8 or 9 pounds to go to reach my ultimate goal so that’s why writing on the blog continues to help me. Even if I don’t remember to take pics (the last three days would have all looked basically the same!), it’s a reminder and a check-in for me.

I did walk the last three days. My arm seems to be totally healed up from whatever I did to it this past summer. Those weights in the basement nag at me as well as the yoga classes I want to sign up for. Here’s a good article – numbers 1 and 4 are me!  Top 6 Exercise Excuses and How to Beat Them
